A man was stabbed with a “large knife”, believed to be a machete, in the Burswood car park.
Police say a group of men were attempting to damage a car in the carpark about 11.45 last night.
When the man confronted the group he was stabbed in the upper abdomen.
The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and is in a stable condition.

A 66-year-old man has been shot at with a pen gun after a scuffle in Edgewater last night.
About 8.45pm the 66-year-old was sitting in his parked Landcruiser with a female friend at Yellalonga Park when a man approached the vehicle and told the 66-year-old that he had a pen gun and "wasn't joking".
The man told the 66-year-old to hand over his keys but he refused.
Police say the man then heard a "loud bang, and a flash".
A scuffle took place and the man was struck in the head with an unidentified weapon.
The owner of the car eventually handed his keys to his attacker but the man could not start the Landcruiser and fled.
The 66-year-old had seven deep lacerations to his head from the attack and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
Police have called for witnesses to the attack.

A man, armed with a hammer, robbed the BP service station at the corner of West Coast Highway and Scarborough Beach Road, about 1.40am.
Police say he forced a staff member to give him money from the till. He then left on a motorbike, heading east on Scarborough Beach Road.
The person of interest is described as about 165cm tall and of medium build. He was wearing dark clothing, dark sunglasses, a sports helmet and was carrying a backpack.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

TWO transit guards were left with serious injuries after being assaulted at Beckenham train station yesterday morning.
Police say a male officer fell on to train lines and hurt his back and a female officer was hit in the face with a bottle.The two officers were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old Thornlie man and 19-year-old Gosnells man were charged with assaulting public officers and appeared in Perth Magistrates Court earlier today.
The 19-year-old was granted bail while the 24-year-old man was remanded in custody.

Police spokesperson Ros Weatherall said police were inundated with calls from neighbours in Cummins Street where a violent street brawl broke out about 6am.
Some of them had trespassed onto neighbour's properties.
"A number of people were charged with disorderly conduct and a woman was charged with possessing prohibited drugs," she said.
The policeman was taken to Fremantle Hospital to have his eye flushed out but had since been released.

Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said the group had been sitting at the front of a Chinese restaurant at the Stirling Central Shopping Centre about 2.10pm when they were confronted by the man.
The man pulled "a large-handled kitchen knife" and held it near their stomachs before demanding their wallets.
When one of the victims distracted the man, three of the others escaped.
Ms Weatherall said the offender threatened the youth and fled.
None of the group was injured.
The man was seen leaving the area in a green four-wheel-drive.

Opened our front door to see what was going on to find a white statesman parked out the front of our house. Plates were recovered about 1 km away from my home after being switched with a car at Rockingham Holden. Still has not been found. Along with my Car I lost my Sons Stroller, Baby Seat, Beltronics Radar Detector, Tom Tom Gps.

A friend of mine has just (as in 10 minutes ago) experienced a violent attempted home invasion in Maddington, the guy knocked on the door and asked for water, then attempted to force entry to the house.
If you live in Maddington please be on the look out for a tall, white male with Dark brown hair wearing a white Adidas shirt, long denim jeans and no shoes. This guys is violent, so don't approach. Call the cops

At about 1.55am this morning a man and woman who were occupants of a home in Wentworth Parade Success were woken by their dog barking.
The man walked to the front door and saw two men standing about two metres from the front door.
The woman called police but the offenders, who were armed with knives, broke into the house and demanded the man give them the keys to his car, which was parked in the driveway.
One offender stood close to the victim with a knife close to his chest while the other offender went into the bedroom and stole the keys to the car, as well as the woman’s handbag, purse and the man’s mobile phone.
The offenders drove off in the red SS utility, registration 1DNE247, with the victim’s unregistered Yamaha YZF 450 off-road motorcycle loaded on the utility.
One offender is described as dark skinned, about 18 to 20 years of age, about 187cm tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded jumper, with the hood up and pinched at the top to cover his face.
The second offender is described as dark skinned, about 18 to 20 years of age, about 170cm tall and of a slim build. He had a slight moustache. He was wearing a dark, hooded jumper, also pinched at the top to cover his face

A Gosnells couple were also victims of a brazen home invasion overnight, when two men broke down the front door of their Evelyn St home and stole their car.
At about 12:50am this morning, a man and woman in their late-20s were woken by a loud banging on the front door of their home before two men broke it down.
The victims ran into a bedroom, locked the door and called police.
Two men broke into the house and stole the woman’s purse, a coin jar and car keys.
The offenders left in the stolen car, a blue Ford Falcon sedan registration number 1DUT458.
No description of the offenders is available, because they were not seen by the victims.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

My house is like fort knox but if they want to get in, they always find a way. She then headed up the street towards Corfield. This happened at 2.10pm this afternoon.

Dawson D'Souza We've had a series of burglaries on my street (near sth Ballajura primary school) during the Christmas/new years break. People tried to rob mine too but were unsuccessful in getting in. Another house near my street was robbed around 2 weeks back.
An attempted burglary also occurred during Jan, a neighbour down the road saw a young 12-15 yr old African boy break a back door house window and scared him off. A couple of the neighbours and I gave chase and caught what we thought was the suspect (based on age, height, t-shirt pattern, ethnicity, and location - he was the only kid in an empty park behind the house in question) but the neighbour couldn't 100% identify if it was the same kid so the cops then had to let him go (I know where he lives though and where his other family lives too).
One neighbour now has cameras set up and I'm getting some too which will almost cover my entire street. I've been doing some rounds around my neck of the woods at night, looking for people jumping fences, acting suspicious etc., no luck yet but give it time.

Had our car stolen yesterday. 2 men took it for a test drive as it was for sale, and they never brought it back. Yes, I know one of us shouldve gone with them, however we were at home with our toddler, I was feeling sick and wasnt really up to caring for our daughter on my own. Its a silver BMW 318 i rego number 1BXI 819. Taken for a test drive from Beechboro at 2pm. One man drove our car, the other was in a white enclosed ute and we have given the police the rego number of that ute. Just keep an eye out to see if it has been dumped anywhere

Witnessed 2 Aboriginal kids on a scooter maybe aged 10 to 13 years old in the undercover car park in Booragoon shopping centre today snack an older ladys hadbag. They had originally been watching me as I walked to my car and put my baby into his car seat but as I got out and closed the back door the older lady had pulled up. They both were on the bike on the other side of the parking bay from the... lady 2 bays from mine. as she put he bag in the trolly in front of her they boys both pulled their hoodies up over their heads as if getting ready. I called out to the lady to grab her bag, she pushed her trolly closer between the 2 cars parked in front of mine and I kept yelling for her to grab her bag, the kids pulled up behind the lady with the passanger on the back jumping off. The passanger then came up behind the lady and threw her into the car next to her and grabbeg her hand bag, as he did so he and the driver bothe glared at me and the driver pointed at me as if to threaten me.
I was unable to do anything as I had a baby in my car and the fact there was no fear or anything from these kids just a look of well do what ever we want. I have reported it to the police and was informed so had the lady, Just letting others know on here please be aware of your surroundings all the time, these were just kid waiting in the dark of a under cover car park for an easy target. It is scary knowing that my baby and I was the first easy target they spotted, but the lady showed up and became easier.
They had no helmets, were wearing hoodie Jumpers one navy blue, the other possibly the same or Black one of the jumpers also had either a white motive or white writing on the front. The scooter was an older model one and a dark colour with either white or silver on it. The car park was very dark and hard to see exact colours. They opened all the bedroom doors of the kids, and left the sliding door wide open! No one is missing or hurt... They have keys to both cars and the house, forensics are on their way...
