Policeman cops spit in eye in Willagee

A police officer was taken to hospital after he was spat in the eye in Willagee.
Police spokesperson Ros Weatherall said police were inundated with calls from neighbours in Cummins Street where a violent street brawl broke out about 6am.
Some of them had trespassed onto neighbour's properties.
"A number of people were charged with disorderly conduct and a woman was charged with possessing prohibited drugs," she said.
The policeman was taken to Fremantle Hospital to have his eye flushed out but had since been released.
