0: Birmingham Fireworks Spectacular

Pype Hayes Park, Erdington, North Birmingham. Monday November 5. Free fireworks display organised by Birmingham City Council. Gates open at 4pm so you can enjoy the funfair and warm up with hot snacks and drinks before the fireworks start at 8pm. There is no parking at Pype Hayes Car Park (except for people with disabilities – access off Chester Road). However there is free parking at the Fort Shopping Centre and a special park and ride service from 4.30pm-10.30pm. Shuttle buses will be located near W H Smith and will run from The Fort to the Bagot Arms opposite the park. Network West Midlands bus routes to Pype Hayes Park: 28, 67, 114, 914. Please leave your pets and fireworks at home. Any fireworks (including sparklers) brought on site will be confiscated and destroyed. No dogs, except guide dogs.

1: Sparks in the Dark

West Midlands Travel Club, Wheelers Lane, Billesley, B13 0ST. Sparks in the Dark charity fireworks event organised by Moseley Round Table. November 3, 5pm to 10pm. Gates open 5pm, display 7pm, funfair and bar open till 10pm. Billed as south Birmingham’s biggest fireworks event. In 2010, more than £10,000 was donated to charities thanks to this event. A proportion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Sparks, a children’s medical research charity. Cost £10 family, £5 adults, £2 children.

3: Wolverhampton Bonfire and Fireworks

West Park, Park Road West, Wolverhampton. Saturday, November 3. Adults £4, Children £2.50, under 2 years old free. Gates open at 5.30pm. At 7pm, the younger audience can watch their own firework display, at 7.30pm the mayor lights the bonfire, at 8.30pm there is a spectacular fireworks display set to popular music. Willenhall Memorial Park. Saturday November 10. Bonfire and fireworks display, food and children’s rides. Car park entry through Pinson Road and Parkside Avenue. Gates open 6pm. Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks 8pm to 8.20pm. Limited parking available. For safety reasons, no fireworks or sparklers. No alcohol allowed. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult. 9: Rugby Fireworks

Whinfield Park, Clifton Road, Rugby. Saturday, November 3. Gates open 5.30pm. 6pm: Rugby FM DJ Jason Moss welcomes everyone and introduces the event. 6.15pm: live music from local bands (including a Michael Buble tribute act and Britain’s Got Talent act Reconnected). 7.15pm: back to Jason Moss in the fireworks build up. 7.30pm: fireworks begin. 11: West Midland Safari Park Firework Festival

Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY12 1LF. Saturday November 3. Spectacular fireworks and bonfire, late-night rides, safari illuminations and African themed music to bring the party alive. The Showground, Malvern, WR13 6NW. Saturday November 3. Billed as a Wild West showdown of a fireworks night, this family evening involves a 20-minute fireworks display set to music. 13: Ragley Hall Bonfire & Fireworks Extravaganza

Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 5NJ. Saturday, November 3. Gates open at 4.30pm, last entry to the park is at 7pm. 14: Tutbury Castle Vikings and Fireworks Spectacular

Castle Street, Tutbury, Staffordshire, DE13 9JF. Friday November 2 to Sunday November 4. For the first time this year, the castle is offering three nights of fireworks. In addition, the Vikings will be back for a spectacular moonlit battle followed by a Viking funeral. On Friday November 2, gates open 6pm, the Vikings arrive at 7.30pm followed by the fireworks. On Saturday November 3, gates open at 6pm, the Vikings arrive at 7.30pm followed by the fireworks. Sunday November 4 is billed as the family day, with gates opening at 3pm, the Vikings arriving at 5.30pm followed by the fireworks. The Sunday also includes a living history camp showing life during the time of the Vikings. 16: West Mid Bonfire and Firework Extravaganza

The West Midlands Showground (location of Shropshire County Show), Berwick Road, Shrewsbury SY1 2PF. Sunday November 4. Discounted advance tickets now on sale at Shrewsbury Tourist Information Centre, Rowley’s House. Radio Shropshire’s Eric Smith presents an afternoon of family entertainment culminating in the lighting of a bonfire at 4pm and a fireworks display at 6pm. 17: Worcester Bonfire and Fireworks 2012

Pitchcroft Racecourse, WR1 3EJ. Saturday, November 3, 5pm. Worcester Round Table hosts this annual bonfire, funfair, music stage and fireworks, this year with a time-travel theme. 18: Family Fireworks Night

The Old Crown, Wigginton, B79 9DW.  Monday, November 5, 2012, from 6.30pm. Enjoy the fantastic fireworks fun in the family atmosphere of The Old Crown in the village of Wigginton.
