one individual posted by Mitchell Harris on BrdBrains:

"Late this afternoon I got a call from Bob Wallace. He John Murphy, John
Hintermister and a friend of theirs were looking at a Razorbill about 300 yrds south
of the jetty at Jetty Park. I arrived a short time later and we watched the bird for
about 15mins in the waning light. The bird was floating upright but, moved very
little if at all. The consensus was is was most likely close to death. They also
found a Brown Booby perched on the end of the north jetty."

2 individuals at Stump Pass Beach State Park

Found and reported to BrdBrains by Cole Fredricks, a photo of one of the birds was attached:

"Found 1 bird swimming south along the beach (gulf side) at approximately 9:30 am. Followed it all the way south to the pass where I found a second bird actively feeding in the surf right off the beach. One bird stayed out past the surf while the other moved into the pass. Awesome looks at both birds for about an hour!"

598393_10151291143269730_1043585411_n.jpWalked to the end of the "beach" at the Islander Resort in Islamorada in the Florida Keys and right after sighting and photographing a red-breasted merganser (female), spotted what at first looked::text like floating black plastic trash. Used my Fuji consumer camera with 24x optical zoom to take a picture and was astonished to see a very wild looking bird with a weird black bill. A friend from the Fish and Wildlife Service who is an avid birder made the ID after reviewing the pic.
