Artistes belges, nous venons avec un projet élaboré à Charleroi. L'installation se résume à un parallélépipède métallique de base carrée (2m long et large et 1m de haut). Territoire nomade, il donne la possibilité à chacun de l’habiter, de l’investir, de le faire sien... et de rencontrer d’autres artistes investigateurs. A travers cette structure métallique, nous interrogeons la question territoriale tout en agissant pour le dialogue en proposant des ouvertures. Les occupants sont invités mais personne ne sait qui sera au rendez-vous. Tout est possible mais un sens est donné. Celui-ci part de réalités prégnantes à Charleroi, une ville post-industrielle réputée ville de la danse en Wallonie : les techniques et les entreprises se délocalisent, l'art et les gens voyagent...
A terme, l'objectif de l'asbl est de proposer le même genre d'événement à Charleroi.

# Notre collectif souhaiterait créer un pont entre l'action de PARK(ing)day et une action de sensibilisation au Revenu de Base. Cela passerait par la mise en place d'un bureau d'information et un bureau de "Recherche d'activités" (vs bureau de Recherches d'emplois"). Occupé un espace à côté de la Place de la Bourse aurait tout son sens.

Le collectif vous propose 2 journées conviviales les 20 & 21 septembre. A notre disposition 2 places de parking, un tapis noir, des palettes, du matériel de bricolage, de bonnes idées, le soutient du Bel Vil Café et la participation de l'association ADR.
ADR ce sont, pour cet événement, deux poètes rodés aux arts de rue. Ils proposeront alternativement des poèmes, soit écrits à l'avance, soit improvisés, le public est prié de participer et pourquoi pas se mêler aux deux compères !
La performance pourra se poursuivre avec musique et amplification :
entre chant et poésie, sous l'impulsion d'une guitare et un mot du public, tout est possible !

Le lieu n'est pas encore ouvert mais depuis début juin nous exploitons un petit parking située 2 rue Belliard avec des foodtrucks tous les midis !
A l'occasion de Parking Day, nous souhaitons donner une nouvelle dimension à cette "terrasse" en l'aménageant de façon champêtre, avec de la paille, des pots de plantes etc. Un foodtruck sera également présent le midi avec une offre de nourriture spécialement pensée pour le Parking Day, sympa et végétale !
De la bonne humeur et, on l'espère, du soleil au rendez-vous !

Kolektiv 1451 bo 20. septembra letos izvedel prvo Park(ing) day akcijo v Celju, ki tako kot mnoga druga razvijajoča se mesta, svojo krizo identitete doživlja ravno skozi parkirne travme občanov, ki v iskanju izgovorov in opravičil za zanemarjanje svojega mestnega jedra, najpogosteje segajo po argumentih, povezanih z neprilagojenostjo stare urbane krajine sodobnim, avto-mobilnim navadam in »razvojnim« trendom. Na nestrinjanje s tako in podobnimi logikami bomo opozorili na sproščen in, upamo da, nevslijiv način ter z našo enostavno instalacijo predstavili in spodbudili k razmisleku o uporabi naših najdragocenejših prostorov.
V ta namen bomo zavzeli (najeli) eno parkirno mesto in ga spremenili v urbano dnevno sobo, odprto za vsakogar, da prisede, poklepeta, izpostavi svoje poglede na celjske ali širše problematike, ali pa se vsaj nasmehne ob nenavadnemu prizoru sredi mesta.

Fremantle’s first Park(ing) Day will be bigger than Perth’s! With Mayor Brad Pettitt’s enthusiasm and assistance, we have managed to organise five parking bays that will be transformed into mini urban parks for the day. Xray Café will be creating a park in front of their establishment, the Living Smarties and Ecoburbia will be creating two spaces, one behind Gino’s in Market Street and the other on High Street. Ecoscape has secured a bay on Market Street near the Newport, and CUSP will be adding to their permanent aquaculture display in front of their building on Packenham.
