HISTORY
The Kampumba licence contains multiple prospects and geochemical anomalies, over which relatively little exploration has yet been carried out. They include many historical gold prospects and the old Kampumba manganese mine. The 5.5km long Tandalwe copper geochemical anomaly was tested in the 1960s by extensive trenching which revealed up to 2% copper over widths of 3m. At that time a solitary diamond drill hole at the location of the better trench results on Tandalwe Hill gave a mineralised intersection of 57m. Significant silver content was recorded but no gold assays were made at the time.
