On September 6, 1522 the crew of the Victoria docked at the Sanlúcar port in Spain with 533 hundredweight of cloves and cinnamon which more than paid for the 3 year voyage of the crew. A few years later 4 members from the original crew who were onboard the Trinadad would make their return to Spain as well. This voyage marked the first time any Euorpean sailor circumnavigated the Earth. The picure below is a representation of the only remaining ship the Victoria.
