Dating back to 1107, Traquair House is the oldest inhabited house in Scotland, and steeped in history. You really do get a huge amount of access to the castle, seeing lots of rooms, personal effects of the family and a genuine priest hole. There is even an on site brewery, and several independant craft shops as well as events throughout the year. Well worth a visit, excellent value for money
