This was the first Master Composter demo site established in Ireland in 2009. Part of the local community since then it is serviced by the local creche and maintained by the volunteers in the area. It has the following compost systems:Turf loam, wood and wire bin, leaf mould bin, pallet composter, plastic councilbin, stackable wooden bin, rotating barrel system, worm bin and green conedigesters. 6: Irish Peatland Conservation Council (IPCC)

The IPCC, located in the Bog of Allen Nature Centre, have a well established demo site that is managed by staff and volunteers of the IPCC. There are five different compost systems in the wildlife gardens of the centre and these are used to manage the garden clippings and food waste from the centre. The compost is used throughout the chemical and peat free wildlife gardens.

8: Clare Master Composter Programme

9: Life Time Lab Demo Site

In conjunction with Cork City Council and the Lifetime Lab a Stop Food Waste Home Composting Demonstration Site has been built in the Lifetime Lab which is situated on the site of the old Water Works on the Lee Road, Cork City. This demo site is for the instruction of visitors to this educational facility that provides all aspects of environmental education. The demo site comprises 7 different composting systems for food and garden waste.

10: Shanganagh Cliffs Demo Site

Established in 2011 by 3 of the master composter volunteers that trained in Airfield, the Shanganagh Cliffs demo site is part of the community gardens in Shankill. It has a number of different composting systems in operation including: concrete block turning system, plastic council composter, leaf mould bin,pallet composter, stackable wooden bin, worm bin and green cone digester. Situated right by the DART line it is a great output of the hard work done locally by the trained master composter volunteers.

It is based on a piece of land owned by Dublin City Council where they have constructed a series of raised beds, used for growing vegetables, a garden shed and a series of compost bins which are used for demonstration. Residents have built a community garden to grow fresh produce and teach children how to garden. The site has a plastic composting bin, leaf mould cage and a newly installed wormery.
