Tidy Town volunteers and FAS workers have created an integrated system of waste prevention and composting throughout the village of Ballycanew, County Wexford. A “Buggingham Palace” insect hotel, wormery and leaf mould bins are located behind the church and two active composting areas one using blocks and the other fencing and pallets are installed to handle the village’s landscape trimmings.
