this cute little restaurant caters to market goers and the local neighborhood foodies (this neighborhood, called the "Yemenite Quarter" or "kerem ha teimanim" is worth a leisurely stroll on its own. it looks like tel aviv from the 50's). on the menu are homey stews, stuffed vegetables and salads, all freshly made with produce from the nearby Carmel open air market.
