no the town doesnt own the property. the owner bought the fire truck from a gentelman down the rd. it was privately owned and 2 stories were restored for his family. before a permit could be issued to restore the 3 rd story a sprinkler syst...em ahd to be installed foe code reasons. the prior owner sold to a religious guy w/ a very large family and on holidays they party up a storm. he told me his grandfather taught there or had some connection many years ago, and thats was one of the reasons he purchased it.
