The was one of the weirder hotels. It was in bad shape, and just about every window and door was open, and it was freezing and raining outside. I was pretty sure that i was adbandoned, but I saw lights on inside. All around it was a Jewish community and I am pretty sure that even though it was closed they were using it for something. (I just read an article that Manhattan Mayor Koch going to buy it back in the 1980's to house the homeless, but the town said no)
