Nigel:  There is a territorial magpie in some trees in my back yard . Occasionally the magpie will sit in the tree at the front of my house , and I  been swooped a few times just getting mail from the letter box .I can’t even mow the lawn because it will swoop me .
Have also witness at least twice , cyclists and pedestrians getting attacked walking down the footpath in front of my house .
