Huge amounts of fragrant fennel, on the inland side of this boardwalk.
Use the feather-like fronds as a herb similar to dill, with an anise/licorice aroma, its good with fish.
Alternatively, slice up the stems and use as you would use fennel bulbs from the markets. Fennel bulbs are just fat stalks, although these thin, wild stalks have a stronger flavour.
