Kayak avec une embarcation louée sur le lac Edouard, dans le magnifique parc de la Mauritie. Pas de difficulté particulière si ce n'est la stabilité des canoës que l'on peut louer, et à laquelle il convient d'être attentif !

An easy paddle through and around the area known as the 1000 Islands. The put in is at the end of Ramp Rd in Cocoa Beach. The concrete boat ramp is easy to locate, but there is a small soft kayak/canoe launch thirty yards north of the regular boat ramp at N28 18.584/W80 36.876, between the restrooms and the tennis courts. Either one works but sometimes the soft bottom launch i...

Launch your kayak at Sunset Lake which is on Sunset Beach Lane on the West of Hwy 101. Head North up the lake. Navigate past the trees in the lake after about a half mile and continue North the boat ramp at the North end of the lake. Take some binoculars to see a close up of the many varieties of birds on the route. Restrooms - At Sunset Lake RV park at the boat launch and at...

This is a short trip out and back to Peanut Island. The island has some great beaches as well as camping and historic sites. While the paddle is a short one it can be more difficult than it appears. Being so close to the inlet the tides and winds are often strong. One tip if launching from the same put in as us is to see which way the boats at anchor are facing, then paddle in...

We put in at the City Park in Crystal River for a short paddle to see the manatees at Three Sisters Springs. This city park is on the Hunter Spring Run that flows into Kings Bay. We were hoping that there would be no crowds at Three Sisters springs since it was relatively early on a Sunday morning, but no such luck. The place was packed with dive boats, pontoon boats and other...

Start this route 30 minutes or so prior to high-tide........... Begin at Broadway Park landing dock next to Broadway Park on the East side of Hwy 101 in Seaside. Take the river South following a quiet and peaceful river to the Ave S bridge. After the bridge the river becomes shallow. On the right tide you might make the edge of the Millponds a little further South. At the bri...

This partial Sebastian River, South Prong paddle was tracked on an overcast yet calm day. We put in at Dale Wimbrow ramp off Roseland Rd. I've left MacDonald Park Ramp on the map also. A launch there would make this a slightly longer paddle. Another option is to use two vehicles leaving one at the canoe launch at N27 46.280 W80 30.480, then launching at Wimbrow or MacDonald. T...

A great run its like a different river every time I go. Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. The first part of the trip is sunny and the second half is shaded with areas to stop and rest if needed. My wife and kids did this run in our canoe. The park also rents canoes and kayaks.

Park your vehicle at the Seaside cinema parking lot. You can make your way down the the river at the West end of 12th Ave bridge by the outlet mall. I started this 2 hours before low tide. The river part was no problem but as you get closer to the estuary tidal influences and wind become a factor. Depending on the tide (if you are against it) progress can be hard work. Please ...

This is a nice place to paddle when you don't want to worry about tides.I put in at the southern event shelter because my destination was the slough that flows off the very south end of the lake. The weather was warm with a cool wind, but once in the slough, the wind was no longer an issue. The water is murky and brown and you can't see deeper that an inch or so, which only ad...
