Start in Big Sur and end up in a fire zone. No running water at the end, no showers, but an interesting night as the highway patrol kept us up to date on whether to evacuate or not. They took all our names - didn't ask for dental records, luckily. The closeup of my picnic table shows the white ash that was raining down on us.
