Kick things off with an old-fashioned celebration at Old Poway Park at 10 a.m. and then head to watch the fireworks at Poway High at 9 p.m.
Spend the day in Spreckels park or along Orange Ave for a parade, art and more before hitting up Glorietta Bay or Ferry Landing for the Big Bay Boom (see below).
Fireworks are a "go" at the cove! Sit out on the rooftop of La Jolla Cove Suites and get the best seat in the house for $60 ($45 for kids). The night will include a bevy of refreshments and entertainment. The best part? Watching the fireworks show will help benefit the La Jolla Elementary School and the La Jolla Firework Foundation, so you can watch again next year!San Diego, CA 92037
Residents in Rancho Bernardo will get their own fireworks show thanks to Rancho Bernardo Middle School. After celebrating the Spirit of the Fourth, pick a spot to sit out with a nice view of the open sky and watch the show, which will start at 9 p.m.
