Chamberlain Square Entrance
This is the main entrance to the museum. Steps lead up to the Round Room, shop, Edwardian Tea Room and access to all parts of the museum.

Access information
This entrance is unsuitable for wheelchair access. Please use Edmund Street (Gas Hall) lift entrance.

1: Rear Entrance to Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

Great Charles Street entrance
This is the best entrance for access to the World Cultures galleries and Learning Zone. You can also use this entrance to access the rest of the museum. 

Access information
Level entrance. Turn left into the Learning Zone for lift to all floors.

2: Entrance to Gas Hall, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

Edmund Street (Gas Hall) Entrance
This is the main entrance for exhibitions in the Gas Hall. It also provides access to all parts of the museum.

Access information
There is a lift at this entrance. It is on the left of the Gas Hall entrance steps.

3: Entrance to Waterhall, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

Waterhall Entrance
This entrance is only for the Waterhall. There is no access to the rest of the museum from the Waterhall.

Access information
The Waterhall can be accessed using the lift located to the left of the Waterhall entrance.
