Overhyped. Mostly exists for tourists that want to eat snake or scorpions. I had a BBQ'ed squid, and I've definitely had better. Just go eat skewers in a hutong instead.

We referred to it as the "St. Marks Place" of Beijng. If you want an army style shoulder bag with Mao's face on it, here's your place.

I'd say this place is half-expat. They're always showing odd films in here. A comfortable place to sit and use the internet. Also, the notebook store, called "Concertino", on the outside of the coffee shop is awesome.

The best part of the Olympic Complex. I hung out in the small opera forest. The cicadas were louder than traffic on a freeway.

A three-story restaurant. The name means "Golden Tripod Attic". So there you go. When the waiter tries to keep you from ordering the pepper clams because you're a Westerner and it's too spicy, listen to him.
