Lugares de interés (POIs) del Mapa

0: Pittsburgh, PA

Home of my alma mater, pierogies, and outdoorsy things I::text like alongside a great city and three rivers.

Más sobre Pittsburgh, PA

1: New York, NY

In my limited travels, still the best city I've been to. (c. 2012) Has it all. Good food, interesting people, outdoorsy stuff, fun things to do, all four seasons.

Más sobre New York, NY

2: Vancouver, BC

Came here for the Winter Olympics 2010 with Bryan. Insane drunk Canadians tearing apart their own city. +Poutine.

Más sobre Vancouver, BC

3: Miami, FL

ULTRA. And good food. http://bit.ly/UkRSpx

Más sobre Miami, FL

4: Chicago, IL

The silvery bean thing. And deep dish pizza. These are good enough reasons to throw down a hundo for a plane ride.

Más sobre Chicago, IL

5: San Francisco, CA

Far more beautiful than New York, but not quite as fast-paced or exciting. But for that reason, I could definitely live here and raise kids.

Más sobre San Francisco, CA

6: Sydney, New South Wales

I don't know who thought I deserved a job at Google, but they were also crazy enough to move me to Sydney. I'm absurdly excited to spend the next few years here (c. 2013).

8: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Beautiful beaches and beautiful cobblestone roads. Kind of clearly a tourist destination, but doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Más sobre Bangkok

11: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

KL is an interesting city. It's got the modern flair of a Seoul or Bangkok, and it *does* have more culture than Singapore, but it's such a big mish-mash of ethnicities that it's hard to get a sense of the people here. Good food though. +Petronas Towers

Más sobre Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

12: Singapore

If you want to see what a lot of money can buy and build, this is the place. Otherwise, a very sterile, boring place. Highlights: Marina Bay Sands, Little India, Orchard Road, Clarke Quay, Raffles Place, Esplanade, Changi Airport. Yeah, that's right. The Airport is fucking nuts.

13: Ho Chi Minh City

I'm not a crazy Top Gear fan, so no need to start a war, but I think their Vietnam episode is one of their best. It just looks::text like one of the most incredible things you could ever experience: http://bit.ly/SHr7vs

17: Tokyo, Japan

When I think of the country with the most eccentric culture, I immediately think Japan. I think of that scene in Babel, where the Japanese girl walks into this neon paradise of shops and clubs, and I want to experience that.

Más sobre Tokyo, Japan

18: Kyoto, Japan

Kyoto is just the syllables of To-kyo reversed! I figured that one out myself. Clever, right?
