I took this trip with a group of very nice kayakers on a beautiful day. We left from King's Landing on the one way trip down the river to Wilson's Landing. That meant that we had to have some vehicles in both locations. The river is really a beautiful place to take your time and enjoy what mother nature provides. The number of turtles and wading birds spotted were limitless. A few gators were also spotted along the way - just a few. It is quite an active river, with many types of crafts encountered - everyone was friendly. There is a charge of $5 to launch your kayak from King's Landing. You also can rent canoes there, taking them as far down or up the river that you so desire. I'm sure everyone will enjoy this trip. Please, take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints!
