Tso Kar is also a good site to see birds like Horned Lark, Hill Pigeon, Chukar, Brahaminy Duck. En-route one can stop over at the Indus Ghat, where one can spot the Ibisbill. En-route one cross the Tanglang La the second highest motor-able road on the manali-Leh highway.
