Summit Awesome Venues

After a successful hackathon in Birmingham over 6 months ago, we decided to do it again. This time expanding to a much larger number of people. Joined by some new faces, we were hosted at the amazingly friendly TechHub Manchester. We broke away for a meal to socialise and chat on the Saturday evening.

For a change of scenery we headed to Manchester, a place we hoped to meet many new faces and boy did we! With the Deaf Institute taking their time to serve us our food, we moved on to the Font Bar for food accompanied with some rather pleasent drinks (and cocktails!)

This time, Summit Awesome headed further north for a change of scenery, and the introduction of plenty of new faces. Far too much food was eaten at (the highly recommended) Red's True BBQ, Leeds' finest beers were drunk, and a good time was had by all.

After a few lunchtime drinks and burgers, we headed to Aston Science Park to begin a 24 hour hackathon. Many pixels were pushed and lines of code written, and eventually, cool shit was made.

To spice things up, we headed to Bodega for a taste of South American cuisine, cocktails, and to talk about all things tech.
