5.8 k or 3.6 miles. Even on a busy day there are not many people on this loop. On this particular day it was not groomed but there were tracks. It is listed as a black diamond. There were several hills that would be challenging to some people. The trail winds its way through the timber and then opens into a great meadow before linking up with the main trail. Not sure which direction is the best. The way we went the up hills were steeper than the down hills and the main trail has a nice long groomed down hill which is easier to slowdown on the groomed trail.
