The steep grades and scenic landscapes of hilly Georgetown Road make up for the short distance of this wonderful ride. The Northern part of this loop is a country ride at its best. Green fields, windmills, and rustic barns look like Texas postcards come to life. Short steep hills and curvy roads make it even more memorable. The southern leg on FM 120 is busier and reminds you that you are near a very popular lake and several large cities. Traffic around Pottsborro demands your attention. Parkdale Lane and Highland Drive will take you to FM 84. The Lil Old road will take you back to Eisenhower Road and then to Eisenhower State Park. If you need some more riding the park offers some very steep grades and about 2 more miles. The roads on this route are rough and narrow but the scenery is very nice and the 8% grades offer plenty of challenge
