Japan's Greater Coasting Area: 近海区域

Japan classifies shipping areas into four types: 平水区域 (Smooth Water Area: lakes, rivers, ports, etc.), 沿海区域 (Coasting Area: up to 20 nautical miles off the coast of the main Japanese islands and Korean peninsula), 近海区域 (Major or Greater Coasting Area, anything in a square bordered by latitudes/longitudes East 94, East 175, North 63 and South 11), and 遠洋区域 (Ocean Going Area: everywhere).
