I am Narayan Shrestha
I’m working for BBC Media Action Nepal, a charity wing of BBC, as a senior producer and presenter. The programme I present, Sajha Sawal, is a weekly debate show broadcast every Sunday evening form Television and Radios across Nepal. It is an audience-based discussion programme that allows ordinary people, particularly the marginalized and the traditionally excluded groups to question authorities. Political leaders-in the government or in the opposition, government officials, and other community leaders are invited as panelists.
The programme seeks to hold authorities accountable on their commitments and responsibilities.
I participated in RNTC’s course: Broadcast Journalism on the theme of Social Conflict and Cohesion 2005.
If you contact me I can give information on RNTC, help to enroll online at NFP and RNTC, help convince your boss, explain the rules/process.
