Our second home, this is better than our real home because it always has food. Grab a table outside and enjoy a healthy brunch (like
this) or a huge fish finger sandwich (with jalapenos nomnomnom) and, most importantly, free wi-fi (with hourly vouchers).
2: Ital Eis Lido
It's dangerous living near to this ice cream place in summer, but hopefully we'll sweat off all the pounds we gain eating their amazing licorice or lemony cheesecakey flavours.

An experience. Tender meat grilled to perfection by the super-friendly chef who adorns the place's signage, served up by a manic-depressive waiter who made fun of Zoë's hat, to the soundtrack of a cheesy crooner and his giant keyboard.

9: Defne Restaurant
Our favourite. We should probably keep it a secret but we've always brought people here - even before we even lived in Berlin, when visiting the city with friends. Intimate little place on the canal, with generous servings of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine.

"Warm beer and cold women". This rockin' burger shack failed on one half of that promise with chilly suds, but then I did go there with Zoë... so.... Get the hot dog burger for a laugh, or the super-sized chicken salad. Turns into a buzzy little bar at night.
