A nice loop hike with great views from I-8 into Mexico. While some areas are steep and there is a lot of hiking up boulders the views make this hike worth the effort. Very little signage so make sure you have a map. The lunch view from the top of the Corte Medera bluff are awesome. This was a loop hike, however, we did lose our way coming back down and ended up having to do about a tough half mile bushwhack on a steep bank. Trail-head: Take I-8 east from San Diego and exit at Buckman Springs. Turn right a the stop sign onto Morena Stokes Valley Road and continue a little less than 5 miles till you get to the Corral Canyon Trail marker. Take Corral Canyon Trail, paved and unpaved, but easily passable by normal car 4.6 miles. Park and head up the road on the right.
