4x4 from Box Canyon road. Drive right on the Godwin Trail. After about 2 miles we leave the Godwin Trail on the right for an easier part up to the canal road. Follow the canal road up to a pumping station. Head left down the dike to the Godwin Trail. This trail follows a canyon wash. When you reach parking, (warning 1)just before a steep descent consider stopping. When you reach Warning 2 think harder to go back. This is the part we barely made as the road is too narrow to fit our car properly as you slide a bit to the side, towards the sandy wall. And a bit steep at the end we barely made it over the top. After that the road is not the best but doable. Driving time about 1.5 hours. Consider the nice Hike. I posted a description of the Hike. Another remark: Way markers: For some reason they place an arrow to the left meaning strait ahead. So use your own common sense and sometimes looking at the other side of the marker helps. Following this GPS trail will help as well.
