At least 2 trees in different properties, with substantial overhang over fence. Dry spring means lots of fruit set. Harvest best when showing full colour but apparently you can harvest once a good size, with a 5cm stem (to avoid caustic sap) and ripen on a tray in the sun. Or can pick 1 or 2 showing full colour and check to see if flesh next to seed is yellow -if yes then all other fruit same size and larger can be picked in 1 week.Store ripe ones in fridge.
