Recently some work was carried out on or around these traffic lights and the road was being controlled by temporary lights. Since the permanent lights were re-instated the timing is completely wrong, allowing only a handful of cars to progress on the main route (Aldridge Road) towards the City. This is causing the traffic to back up much further than usual (even though it is Easter holidays and I travel on this road before the peak traffic). This has added approximately 5 minutes to the journey time, I would imagine this could double in peak hours outside of the holiday.The same problem occurred last time these lights lost power which I reported and thankfully was resolved within a few days.
