A 34 year-old self-employed contractor is now in jail after police say he caused quite a scene at the Lowe's on Veterans Parkway Saturday evening.

Police were called to the store just before 6 o'clock because a customer was fighting with two employees. When they got to Lowe's they found Christopher Newman fighting with two men who worked at the store.

Witnesses tell police the suspect threatened to cut the victims with a knife and he also bit both of them on the arm during a fight, causing them to bleed.

4: May 26, 2012 San Diego • Spring Valley : Man Bites Cousin's Nose Off

A Spring Valley man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after his cousin bit the tip of his nose off.

The altercation started at a family gathering in a home in the 9000 block of Lamar St. around 11 p.m. Tuesday, a sheriff's department statement said.

The two cousins had been drinking and arguing all day, and eventually starting a physical fight. During the fight, one of them bit the tip of the other's nose off.

The victim was taken to the hospital, along with the piece of his nose which was located shortly after the fight.

The suspect was arrested and booked into jail, the department stated.

6: June 9, 2012 Kansas City Mo : Woman bites a man and diggs in the ground like a dog with dirt in the mouth

One of that woman's neighbors told police she bit him on the arm, then got down on all fours and started digging in the dirt.

"I saw her on the ground, like she was digging in the ground, like a dog would. And they tried to grab her and then she started kicking back at them," McBride said.

According to the police report, "her left leg was mule-kicking and she had what appeared to be dirt in her mouth."

7: June 13, 2012 New York • Munnsville : Naked Pamela McCarthy assaults her 3 yo child and grawls.

When police arrived she was totally naked and beating her 3 yr old son. Police tryed to pepper spray her but she barked and growled like a dog. Police shot her with a Tazer, she then went into cardic arrest and died.

McCarthy's 3-year-old son, Jai Williams, tumbled with her and landed beneath her, David Bridge said.

She stood up, her arm around Jai's waist.

"When she got up, it was like she was in a stupor," David Bridge said. "She hit concrete after falling down a flight of stairs and got up like nothing happened."

She exchanged words with Jason Williams, Jai's father, who was outdoors. She walked around a puddle and looked at David Bridge. Her eyes, he said, were filled with rage.

"'You better get out of here, you nasty f-word,'" he said she told him.

According to Jason Williams, McCarthy had a heart catheterization two days before the incident.

9: June 14, 2012 : Waco, Texas : Michael Terron Daniel grawls, bites, and eats dog to death.

Police arrested Michael Terron Daniel Monday for allegedly killing a family pet while under the influence of synthetic marijuana.

Witnesses told police Daniel got on his hands and knees and chased a neighbor while barking like a dog.

Witnesses said Daniel then struck the family's medium-sized black dog, then proceeded to strangle the dog and bite it several times, ripping away pieces of its flesh, Swanton said.

When police arrived at the scene, Daniel was sitting on the porch holding the dead dog in his lap. Daniel was covered in the animal's blood and fur, police said.

Swanton said Daniel attempted to provoke officers into attacking or shocking him with a taser, but he was arrested without incident.

13: June 25, 2012 Texas • Odessa : Man shots 68yo Man at home and bites detective

James Chancellor Creech, 8116 San Antonio St., was arrested on a third-degree felony charge of assault of a peace officer and second degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said.

Anaya said that when Steven Little answered the door, Creech shot twice, grazing the man’s forehead and hitting him in the side of the neck, a shot that passed completely through near the edge of the neck.

The two men did not know each other, Anaya said.

Anaya said the suspect then bit Det. Patrick Chadwick with the crimes against persons unit, which drew blood and the officer went to MCH for evaluation. Chadwick was released as of Wednesday.

A bus driver has been detained after he gnawed on a female driver's face after blocking her car on a road in Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province, local media reported yesterday.

Police said the incident occurred near a bus station in Ouhai District at 2pm on Tuesday when a man surnamed Dong rushed onto the road and blocked the vehicle of a female driver surnamed Du, Wenzhou City News reported.

The man then climbed on the car's hood and started hitting the windshield while Du screamed inside, police said.

Several minutes later, Du got out of the car to flee, but the man jumped on her and started gnawing on her face once they were on the ground, police said.

Passers-by said Du's face was covered in blood. They said they tried to pull Dong off the woman, but he seemed so "crazy" that they couldn't stop him.

The unnamed 16-year-old boy was walking down the street in Corpus Christi, Texas, when he accidentally ran into a Hispanic man.

The boy told police that the man, aged 20 to 25, bit him on the neck and broke the skin before running away.

According to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, the boy was walking alone Shoreline Boulevard late Wednesday night when he bumped into the man.

The suspect, described as Hispanic and around 5ft 8in, then ran off.

Senior police officer Julia Herandez-Garcia told 1200 WOAI Radio that in all her years as a police officer, this attack is very out-of-the-ordinary.

16: July 7, 2012 Florida • St Augustine : Naked man arrested after biting man's stomach

Officers with the St. Augustine Police Department were called to a home on Palmetto Avenue a little before 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning after residents of the home found a naked man on their roof.

When police got to the home, they found 22-year-old Jeremiah Haughee being restrained by two men on the floor of a home in the 60 block of Plametto Avenue. Haughee was naked and in a puddle of urine and broken glass, according to an arrest report from the St. Augustine Police Department.

He bit the homeowner in the stomach and a police officer in the leg.

He was released from jail Sunday (July 8) and has not being tested to see if he was under the influence of any substances...

17: July 12, 2012 Texas • Corpus Christi : Brandon Michael Williams arrested after hitting one officer, biting another

Brandon Michael Williams is in jail after biting a police officer during a violent struggle Wednesday night, police said,

During the struggle with officers, Brandon Michael Williams, 19, kept reaching for his waistband, police said. Williams hit one officer on the bridge of his nose and bit another, police said. After the three fell to the ground, officers said Williams tried to grab one of the officer’s duty belt.

Officers used a Taser on Williams to get him into handcuffs. Police said a handgun fell out of Williams’ waistband.

Williams was being held Thursday in Nueces County Jail on bail totaling $20,500 for two counts of suspicion of aggravated assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest, search or transport.

Police said the officer received treatment at Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial for the bite wound.

18: July 13, 2012 Dallas • Texas : Arthur Walker Crashes his Truck Through Texas Mall

DALLAS -- Police say a naked man crashed a pickup truck into a Dallas mall, then drove over a few kiosks before stopping to try on clothes.

Dallas police were called to the Southwest Center Mall around 7:30 a.m. Friday. Officers say the man was apparently covered only in a blanket when he drove his truck through the glass entrance doors, then crashed through several kiosks before driving into a Champs Sporting Goods store.

Once inside the store, police say he left his blanket in the truck and started putting on clothes and a pair of Air Jordan shoes.

No one was injured.

A police statement identifies the man as 35-year-old Arthur Walker of Dallas. He's jailed without bond on a burglary charge. Dallas County Jail records list no attorney for him.
