Description: This canal is part of the massive HNSS irrigation project that will irrigate over 600,000 acres when it is completed. The area around the newly dug canals is completely denuded, so SRDS and the Green Tree Foundation have worked to directly seed over 25 kg of seed, along with planting over 2,000 seedlings on the sides of the canal in 2009.
