Etapa 6 de la Ruta que discurre por el bajo Danubio de Belgrado a Constanta, durante 1017 km hasta el Mar Negro en 10 etapas. Va de Vdin a Bechet es decir de Bulgaria a Rumania. Vdin está situado en la frontera con Rumania. Entre Bulgaria y Rumania, la frontera es siempre el Danubio. A Vdin cogemos un ferry que nos lleva a Calafat, que es la ciudad en la parte Rumana. Actualmente están construyendo un puente sobre el Danubio, que unirá los dos países. Entre los dos países, actualmente sólo existe el puente de Ruse a Giurgiu. A partir de Calafat, ciudad bastante moderna, entramos en territorio calé. El etnia gitana invade todo el territorio y tenemos kilómetros de pueblos todos iguales. Parece un bosque, pero en realidad es sólo la carretera asfaltada, los arcenes donde se hace la vida (caballos, pilas de arena, gansos, gente sentada en los bancos, niños pululan). Y cada pueblo dura muchos kilómetros. Están longitudinalmente repartidos a lo largo de la carretera. Sólo de vez en cuando una calle perpendicular sin asfaltar con tres o cuatro casas. Y entre cultivos y villas separadas del río prudencialmente para evitar las inundaciones llegamos a Bechet, donde en un oasis encontramos una pensión invisible a los buscadores de Internet. STAGE DESCRIPTION
In this stage, Vdin to Bechet, we leave Bulgaria to get into Rumania. In Vdin we take the ferry that crosses the river to reach de Romanian border, in the city of Calafat. On the way you can see the new bridge under construction, from Romania to Bulgaria. It will be the second after the one from Ruse to Giurgiu.
The city of Corabia is quite modern but then the road entries totally in the large gypsian zone of Bulgaria. Horses and carriages to make the harvest, the transport and all the life next to the road. All the stage is paved road, of good quality but some times with some holes. And the way is 50% countryside, with many plantations of vegetables harvested with the hands, and carried with horses. The other 50% is village. Only the main paved road, with a big band each side with trees, chichens, gooses, horses, bench and all the people living next to the road. Then the fence and one line of houses. Many trees, like if you were in the forest. Sometimes a non paved road perpendicular as a little street with a few houses.
All the way is this, until you reach Bechet. And there, Pensionea Casa Verde. The only one in 150 km from Calafat to Corabia. Difficult to find in internet. But useful for this trip.

DESTINATION POINT
Bechet is the biggest city in the zone. Like the others but with the difference it has Pensionea Casa Verde. There is also the road to the ferry that crosses the Dunav, to Bulgaria.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
There are no alternatives routes. There is this only road parallel to the Dunav but a few kilometers away to protect from the floods of the river.
