Have driven by the Tryfan many a time, but have always talked my self out of it, but I thought it was about time I conquered the pyramid shape mountain from the North side as it is more easy to ascend than descend. iv been told that it doesn't matter how many times you walk up you never take the same route so just take your time and just pluck a route up between the big boulders. About two thirds of the way up near the canon (rock that you apparently supposed to walk out on, but not for me) you will have time for a rest as is the only flat part. All Im going to say about the top is Adam and Eve not for me. The decent is quite easy.
