Peak Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells Peak)

This is one of popular tourists' attractions of Langkawi Island. I started my trail run from Berjaya Langkawi Beach Resort and without any planning ended up running up all the way to the highest peak of 7 wells fall. You will pass by the Langkawi cable car station before the trail entrance.One has to hike up and it will take around 30 minutes for average hikers to reach the 7 wells. It's well paved path with lots of steps to climb. Visitors/hikers will be fully rewarded with the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, oceans and the islands. Walk carefully if you plan to walk into the pools (rather wells) in the stream as wet rocky surfaces are quite slippery. Please bear in mind that this place 7 wells claimed a few tourist hiker's lives before! Still short of adventure? You can continue to hike up for another 20 minutes and will reach the peak. Puncak Telaga Tujuh is 1736 feet above sea level (not 1736 metres as in picture - it's a mistake)
