Philippines, Co. Ifugao, Batad / Hapao / Hungduan In Batad, at Las Vegas Hotel we were offered a jeep tour to the nearby village, Hapao (approx. 10km), to see even more spectacular rice terraces than in Batad. The road was very bumpy, we really had to hold each other in the back of the jeep. The local driver was very familiar with the tiny paths, scary driving, but we enjoyed it. In Hapao we saw wonderful and well maintained terraces, from the parking place we descend to the village. On the way back we stopped at the viewpoint of the Batad rice terraces.
