19: Health Concern From Citizen

I live on Snuggs Circle, it's located 300+yds from the impact zone in Northwoods. That 1st week, We were breathing the worst of the fumes. We exprienced Heaaches, burning eyes, nausea, tightness in our chest and dizziness. Since then, We have had trouble with shortness of breath, abdominal pain, metalic taste in mouth & non stop headaches. I am extremely concerned with the long term health effects of my entire family. We are all experiencing these symptoms, some of us are worse than the others. My main fear is that we are poisoned by the toxins from inhaling the fumes and no one can give us any of us a straight answer and our city officials are not concerned with educating themselves with any other info, other than what EXXON is telling them. I'm Scared.

48: Noise

I live on Fowler Lane behind the cove in Mayflower AR. the air boats, helicopters, and constant traffic of lookers, police, exxon people, media, and no telling who else coming over here. police coming out of the woods to block media from showing the extent of oil back here is something else. We are very bothered with this spill so close to us.

50: Pegasus pipeline rupture

580x435A resident notified the company of the spill after spotting a patch of oil and dead vegetation seven miles south of Doniphan in the southeast of the state, Exxon and state officials said on Wednesday.

About one barrel of crude leaked and the cleanup is "close to completion", an Exxon spokeswoman said.

Tuesday's spill occurred 200 miles north of Mayflower, Arkansas, where about 5,000 barrels of crude spilled from the Pegasus pipe into a residential area on March 29, prompting a giant clean-up operation that is still ongoing.
