Loxahatchee Kayak Trip

A beautiful old Florida yak trip on the Loxahatchee River. This trip starts off west of Jupiter, Fl. off W. Indiantown Rd. west of I-95. From this start location you will be going with the flow of the river. On this trip, due to weather concerns we only went as far as I-95 then returned. Naturally the return trip is against the rivers flow, and not quite as easy as the first part of the trip. We had lots of fun going over the second damn, about a three foot drop. We will be back to do the full trip down to Johnathan Dickinson State Park. I've left a couple of interesting waypoints further down the river.
