0: Laugavegur
Reykjavik's main central shopping street and the location of a wide variety of bars. The side streets are also worth exploring and the streel leading off Laugavegur up to the cathedral on the hill is lined with galleries and boutiques where you can buy (expensive) locally designed and made art, design and fashion.
Más sobre Laugavegur1: Perlan
Stunning views from the silvery dome on the top of one of Reykjavik's highest hills. Location of an informative and educational Icelandic history exhibition. There's also a restaurant in the dome but it's quite pricey and requires booking.

A preserved archeological dig site hidden under a hotel in central Reykjavik featuring state of the art interactive exhibits of the earliest settlement in Iceland

Lively bar with live music every night and a wheel of fortune where you can try you luck and win beer
Más sobre The English Pub11: Tapas Barrin
The best restaurant in Reykjavik (That I've been to at least) Try 'The Journey into the Unknown" for a mixed bag of wonderful dishes. Well worth the price, which is expensive.
Más sobre Tapas Barrin12: Oliver
Nice Bar which also serves food during the day. Good crowd at night if a touch on the fashionable side.
Más sobre Oliver13: Bar 11
Bar/Club that plays mainly rock and alternative music. Dark and loud if you::text like that sort of thing.
Más sobre Bar 1114: Solon
Fashionable Bar/Restaurant, nice interior and atmosphere though
Más sobre Solon15: Vegamot
Restaurant which transforms into a bar/club at night. Nice atmosphere if a little crowded on the weekends
Más sobre Vegamot16: The Celtic Cross
Generally known locally as just "The Celtic" this ostensibly Irish themed bar occupies what used to be a funeral parlour. Look for the little room at the back with a coffin for a table.
Más sobre The Celtic Cross18: The Central Bus Station
Busses can be got from here to near enough anywhere in Reykjavik for a reasonable Fare. Worth buying a day or three day ticket if you plan to roam around Reykjavik a great deal.
Más sobre The Central Bus Station25: The Highlander
Unusual name for a bar that is plastered with adverts for Guinness but there you go. The student hangout of choice apparently.
Más sobre The Highlander28: Hotel Cabin
Also known as the Hotel Shoebox for the size of the rooms. Cheap and cheerful and somewhere to sleep though. This is where I stayed for my first Fanfest.
Más sobre Hotel Cabin29: Pizza Hut
One of the only chain restaurants I've seen in Iceland, The other s being Dominos and Subway.
Más sobre Pizza Hut30: Waffle Truck
There's usually a Waffle truck sitting on this square. Hard to walk past when you've got a munch on.
Más sobre Waffle Truck31: The Blue Lagoon
Making use of cooled and filtered, mineral rich water from the nearby geothermal powerstation The Blue Lagoon is an outdoor pool which is one of Iceland's trademark attractions. Definitely worth a visit for a soak in the bright blue warm water.
Más sobre The Blue Lagoon33: BSI - National Bus Terminal
BSI is the hub terminal where coach tours and the flybus to Keflavik leaves from. The Flybus will often stop off at the major hotels but if your hotel isn't included on the route there are usually taxis available which will take you wherever you need to go.
Más sobre BSI - National Bus Terminal34: Hallgrimskirkja
Reykjavik's modernist concrete cathedral which dominates the skyline of the city as the tallest building around (helped by the fact that it sits atop a hill)
Más sobre Hallgrimskirkja35: Prikiđ
The place to get the breakfast of kings and banish any hangover you may be harbouring from the night before's revelry.
