“Small press is the guardian of literary culture and free speech," affirmed the Canadian poet bpNichol who also showed through his life that literary culture is a place of experimentation and play. Kevin Spenst will start his one-hundred venue reading tour of Canada in Victoria on April 11th, 2014. He will be reading from a sequence of sonnets found in Pray Goodbye (the Alfred Gustav Press/North Vancouver, BC), more experimental work from Retractable (serif of nottingham/Hamilton, ON), some "vispo" work from What the Frag Meant (100 tetes press, Calgary) and poems from his self-published Happy Hollow and the Surrey Suite.A big thank you to the generosity of car2go https://www.car2go.com/en/vancouver/
