Lots of restaurants, bars and shops along Nopparat Thara beach
This is an area with a bunch of fancy hotels and resorts that charge 1,000-3,000 baht per night (25,000-150,000 baht per month). Ever basic cheapo guesthouses don't do much of a deal for monthly rates here because they can fill the rooms easily with daily rates in high season.
This area has a bunch of bungalows for rent. Really nice scenery, mountains and tropical forest. Not sure about rates or internet connectivity.
Thai food. Solid recommendation from Mr. Chris Kirkland.
Good restaurant, not the cheapest but still reasonable. Chicken Massaman (140 baht I think) highly recommended by the nearby dive shop. Location is approximate.
30 baht lunch buffet, includes noodles, curries, vegetables. Extra: drinks, eggs (10 baht each), chicken skewers (10 baht each). Not sure if they're still doing it. Location is approximate.
Think it's only big on Saturdays. Might be closed every night and on Sundays. Location is approximate.
Nice looking rooms for affordable prices, but seems::text like very unreliable wifi. Location is approximate.
