The purpose of the Sustainable Seafood project is to work with the seafood industry to promote leading sustainable fisheries with the introduction of market-based incentives. At the same time, there is a focus on education of both consumers and seafood professionals to provide clear sustainable seafood choices. WWF is a leader in international efforts to find long term solutions to benefit people and nature. Because of more than 5 million independent supporters, our conservation efforts address global threats and we work to protect endangered species and habitats in more than 100 countries around the world.
