The project consists of 3 major components: establishing a reserve network in the Qinling Mountains, ecotourism, and a community-based conservation network in the Qinling panda area. The overall goals are to contribute to the species conservation programme by mobilizing non-conventional stakeholders and to implement the principles of magnification, partnership, modular projects, model sites in the field and communication. WWF is a leader in international efforts to find long term solutions to benefit people and nature. Because of more than 5 million independent supporters, our conservation efforts address global threats and we work to protect endangered species and habitats in more than 100 countries around the world.
