The overall goal of this project is to develop, practice and implement mechanisms for the sustainable development of a network of protected areas in the Central Asian region, for the benefit of nature conservation (including some flagship species in particular) and sustainable socio-economic development. WWF is a leader in international efforts to find long term solutions to benefit people and nature. Because of more than 5 million independent supporters, our conservation efforts address global threats and we work to protect endangered species and habitats in more than 100 countries around the world.
