The Argentine marine project is a recent and exciting strategic programme executed through the WWF associate organization Wildlife Foundation of Argentina (Fundacion Vida Silvestre Argentina). The current work plan includes 3 years’ objectives, ending in 2008, and comprises three components: marine protected areas, sustainable fisheries and priority marine species. WWF is a leader in international efforts to find long term solutions to benefit people and nature. Because of more than 5 million independent supporters, our conservation efforts address global threats and we work to protect endangered species and habitats in more than 100 countries around the world.
