| Description of WMBD Event | Workshop type involving students for understanding the effect of land use change over the storks nesting and breeding in rural areas of Sibiu and Brasov County – in central part of Romania. Over the last 20 years important changes have been registered in the land use being either detrimental either beneficial to storks. In rural areas arable land conversion to grassland supported the storks existence and on the other hand the cities area where land conversion is for constructions supporting it was observed detrimental effects on storks |
