| Description of WMBD Event | A group of 50 schoolstudents and teachers from St.Petersburg will take part in the bus tour to Olonia - old rural district of Southern Karelia. This area is a largest stopover site for many migratory birds on a Baltic-Scandinavian flyway. We will visit traditional spring event "Geese festival", which includes goose run and handicraft exhibition. Also we will visit surrounding fields to watch geese, lapwings, curlew and other migratory bird species. |
